Investment Advisor
As an independent, fiduciary advisor, our mission is to always put the client’s needs and objectives above our own. This easily sets us apart from other types of firms in the industry that may be held to a lesser standard than you would expect.
Retirement Planning
Where will your retirement money come from? If you’re like most people, qualified-retirement plans, social security, personal savings and investments. Once you have estimated the amount of money you may need for retirement, a sound approach involves taking a close look at your potential retirement-income sources.
Wealth Management
Wealth management is more than just investment advice, it incorporates all parts of a person’s financial life. The idea is that high net-worth clients benefit from the holistic approach we provide, coordinating all the services needed to manage their money and plan for their own or their family’s current and future needs.
Answers to Common Questions
Yes. But anyone can “say” they’re a fiduciary. Bruce Smith is an AIF® – Accredited Investment Fiduciary
What Is a Fiduciary? A fiduciary is a person or organization that acts on behalf of another person or persons, putting their clients’ interests ahead of their own, with a duty to preserve good faith and trust. Being a fiduciary thus requires being bound both legally and ethically to act in the other’s best interests. (Source: Investopedia.com)

Identify the Universe
The first step in our process is to identify each universe from which we select the stocks for the five market segments. Each universe contains stocks selected specifically for each component of the allocation.
Screen for Finanical Strength
The next step in our process is to evaluate companies based on multiple factors. These factors are designed to identify those stocks which exhibit strong fundamental characteristics and to eliminate those that do not meet our investment criteria..
Examine Historical Results
Next, we look for companies that have earned a net cash flow return on investment that is above the average of their peers. Historically, companies that have increased their cash flow at higher rates have rewarded shareholders with superior returns.
Select Attractive Valuations
The stocks selected for the portfolio are those that meet our investment objective, trade at attractive valuations and, in our opinion, are likely to exceed market expectations of future cash flows.
Value Growth
Determining which areas of the market provide the best investment opportunities can be a daunting task and sometimes economic climates break with tradition, making Investment decisions even more arduous. These situations have historically offered opportunities for patient shareholders to increase their exposure in great companies. The credit crisis has underscored the value of a strong balance sheet, a once underappreciated quality. Our goal with the Market Strength Allocation Select Portfolio is to invest in undervalued companies with strong market positions
FInancial Services
With our financial services, through our selection process we seek to find the companies that we believe have the best prospects for above-average capital appreciation. In a world of rapidly changing markets and complicated legislative issues, choosing to work with us could be one of the most critical decisions you make! We can help you determine the appropriate investments for you or your company’s plan, and depending on your situation, identify educational opportunities!
Risk Considerations
An investment in this managed account should be made with an understanding of the risks involved with owning common stocks, such as an economic recession and the possible deterioration of either the financial condition of the issuers of the equity securities or the general condition of the stock market. An investment in a portfolio containing equity securities of foreign issuers is subject to additional risks, including currency fluctuations, political risks, withholding, the lack of adequate financial information, and exchange control restrictions impacting foreign issuers
Risks associated with investing in foreign securities may be more pronounced in emerging markets where the securities markets are substantially smaller, less liquid, less regulated, and more volatile than the U.S. and developed foreign markets. The value of the securities may be subject to steep declines or increased volatility due to changes in performance or perception of the issuers.
