Bill Parker Biography

William J. Parker is the Chief Executive Officer of GrandView Asset Management, a firm which offers fee based money management headquartered in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. GrandView Asset Management is one of the largest and oldest independent Fee Based management firms in Central Pennsylvania. The firm has been family operated since 1962.

William is also the Chief Executive Officer of GrandView 401k Advisors. Grandview 401k Advisors is an independent consulting firm that creates qualified and nonqualified retirement programs. GrandView 401k Advisors sets itself apart by educating the business owners as well as the employees, so they can retire successfully. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst which allows him to serve as a Co-Fiduciary on retirement plans.

He has been seen on CNBC, FOX NEWS and CNN. He has also appeared in Forbes Magazine and The Financial Advisor Magazine. He has spoken at the United Nations on the condition of the poor in India and has testified in front of Congress on the increasing population of Autism in America. William also was the father of the ABLE account which has allowed millions of individuals with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities work and save money without losing their Social Security Benefits or Medicaid Services.

William is the host of Inspire to Retire Radio on WHP 580AM Radio at 8AM and 3PM every Saturday in Harrisburg, PA, and Biblically Responsible Investing which can be heard in all 50 States on over 450 radio stations.

With over 25 years of experience, William Parker understands the gamut of investments and services that are available to help individuals, families and businesses plan for their financial needs. He understands the various vehicles, both qualified and non-qualified, available to help businesses structure benefit plans to retain current employees as well as attract and recruit new employees. William has a deep understanding of Biblically Responsible Investing and as a Certified Estate Planner he can help families plan for the next generation and charitable giving.

He is the father of six children, three of whom are living with Fragile X and Autism. Having children with special needs has spurred him to create Special Planning, a firm which specializes in Estate Planning and Financial Planning for Families with Special Needs Loved Ones.

With success comes the responsibility of stewardship. William Parker primarily concentrates his philanthropic efforts on children with disabilities. Demonstrating his commitment to give back, he has served on several national and regional boards including the National Autism Society of America, Dalit Solidarity, A Gift of Smiles, Founding President of the Harrisburg Diocese Legatus Chapter, The MIND Institute at UC Davis (California), The National Fragile X Foundation, and Founded the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities at Philhaven (WellSpan) which treats over 2000 children per year with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. In addition, he also advances the cause by working with officials at both the state and federal levels to increase funding for research and services on behalf of individuals with special needs.

William Parker and his wife, Deborah, reside in Palmyra, Pennsylvania with their children.
